Scientific papers for your Perusal.
This is becoming quite the list.  I recommend you tackle this incrementally. First, go through each page and just read all of the titles.  Ignore the ones that make no sense to you and just take in the body of text.  I’m sure you will see some titles you are compelled to click on, but once you are done with the overview of titles, search for the “review” papers.   They are written in conversational tone and not so heavy with the sciency jibber-jabber.  After that, search for your topics of interest.   One needs to be trained to read science, but  there is much to learn from the straight reading. If you see something you like, search for the  author’s other works. Chances are there is a lot more to find.

Some papers in this library disagree with each other and some were selected as bad examples.  Some have terrible methodology and reach undeserved conclusions. Some have great methodology and reach undeserved conclusions based on the data within the paper. My sharing does not imply endorsement or agreement. Also this list is terribly biased because it is based on my interests. I’m sharing the scientific conversation and hope it is the shallow end of the pool of hard science for you.

Many of the papers are behind a paywall so you’ll need to pay or have a friend with a Pubmed account to retrieve them or settle for reading the abstract. A few were entered more than once (some several times) and of course, sometimes links die.  You can just search for the title and it should come right up in any search engine. If you see problems feel free to let me know.

Lastly, not every published paper is fact or truth. I urge you to read the first paper by John Ioannidis entitled “Why Most Published Research Findings are False.” Just because it’s published doesn’t mean the science was set up correctly. Conversely, not every paper is fringe heresy, either. You need to build a narrative and let the papers support each other. It may be decades before ideas in them reach the textbooks.
